EPL: Gary Neville reveals Manchester United player “dancing on Mourinho’s grave”

Former Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has accused Paul Pogba of “dancing on Jose Mourinho’s grave”, after the Portuguese was sacked by Manchester United.

United’s executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, ended Mourinho’s reign during a brief meeting at the club’s training ground on Tuesday morning.

Pogba and Mourinho fell out on several occasions during their time together at Old Trafford and in what turn out to be his final game in charge, Mourinho left the player on the bench in United’s 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

Shortly after Mourinho’s exit was confirmed, Pogba posted a picture of himself smirking on Instagram.

The post was quickly taken down and has been explained as a mistimed commercial post from Adidas.

But Neville is not happy with Pogba’s conduct.

“Mourinho lost his job this morning and Paul Pogba and his people put that Instagram post out.
“Don’t fall for this coincidence, schedule tweet nonsense… it’s garbage. Absolute garbage. Do not let him fool you.

“To dance on the grave of the manager who has just been sacked is out of order.

“There is no doubt that Paul Pogba has fallen out with the manager, he doesn’t believe in him, he doesn’t like him. He doesn’t think he’s a good coach probably.

“And vice versa, Jose Mourinho doesn’t think Pogba is as good a player as he thinks he is.

“There has been a complete breakdown between the pair of them in the last six months, maybe even 12 months.

“There is no doubt there is a high level of dislike there,” Neville told Sky Sports News.
